Hi, I will include the monitor part number if necessary when I get home from work. Was hoping to see if someone may know of a quick fix first.
I have an ultracade machine I picked up cheap, I converted to a mame machine with a PC. Was working fine until i booted up one day and the monitor began clicking without any display. If I unplug the monitor from the PC I get the same issue. Seems like its in protect mode or something. I was screwing around with the resolution on the PC before this happened so I am thinking it stuck out of range or something. I tried unplugging it from the power strip and running directly to an extension cord and still same issue. I checked the ceramic fuse and its good.
Anything obvious I can look for or try?
thanks for any assistance.

Clicking usually means something mechanical is toast. Could be a bad solder shorting something, caps or the flyback is bad. You'll likely need to get it repaired by a professional, I'd recommend http://www.arcadecup.com/ (http://www.arcadecup.com/). You could call Chad at Arcadecup and describe the issue and see what he says.
Good luck.
