Hello,
I've got myself a nice looking 445, but it has got a problem. I can select records, it puts them on the turntable but that doesn't spin and the tone arm doesn't move. When I move the tone arm to the end of the record, the sequence continuous. The record is put back in the magazine and the next selection comes up.
Now I've spend some time going trough the manual just to discover on page 31 that in sequence No.14 the turntable motor gets turned on, but unfortunately I quote "the circuit is not shown". :(
Can somebody out there give me some directions where to start looking. Is the turntable motor turned on by a relay or a switch? Where can i find it?
Best regards Noel.

Hi Noel,
You are correct re the manual, you will need the schematic of the jukebox. On most of the Rock Ola's from this era the 117 volts AC turntable is controlled by the Play Control relay in the power distiributionand write in unit.
I have not worked on Rock Ola's for over 30 years so I have no other information.

I'm not sure if that one has circuit breakers or not. I'm not familiar with that particular box but some of the later 440's had them I believe. Check them and make sure they are not tripped. Check the fuses. I have fixed some from that time period but never recall the problem you are having. Most of the time it is a selector or keyboard related problem. If you don't have a manual you are going to need one:
