Title: Question about using a WGM2792-U0TS30A monitor for MAME
Post by: jmcginley on July 21, 2015, 09:48:42 am
Hello, I'm very new to this whole scene and I'm trying to jump in and learn and build a MAME arcade out of an old Gauntlet cabinet that was converted at some point to a Target Terror.

I've been lurking for the longest time and from all the reading I've done, I'm still not entirely sure I understand the best way connect a PC to the WGM2792-U0TS30A monitor.

I just want to be able to play games so they'll feel natural. I'm not concerned about it being EXACTLY like the original, just enough to where a normal person couldn't tell the difference. Not sped up with black bars on top and bottom or any screen tearing, etc.

What should I do to accomplish this with this monitor? I've read about GroovyMAME, ArcadeVGAs, CRT emudrivers and I'm just confused about what I need for my setup.

Thanks in advance for any help!
