Post by: markholland8 on July 20, 2015, 03:51:38 am
Hello All,

Im new to this and building my forst cab. I am using a rasberry pi but prior to installinjg i nmwould like to test all the buttons and joysticks are connected ok. Is there apice i software i can run on my pc that would indicate button presses and up/down/left and right on the 2 joysticks i have fitted. The kit i have is just a generic usb board.

Thanks in advance Mark

generic usb board

What is a generic usb board? Is it a keyboard encoder? If so, just fire up a text editor and press your buttons and joysticks.

Welcome aboard, Markholland8.   ;D

If it is a gamepad-style encoder, look in "Control Panel--Hardware and Sound--Devices and Printers" for your encoder device.

Right click on the icon and select "Game controller settings" then "Properties" to bring up the Windows gamepad tester.   ;D
