In Zansabar for the weekend and walked by a store filled with children playing Fifa on rows of CRT tv with PS2's

Did you get the name of the place? That just wants me to donate something - also makes us think just how disposable we treat things sometimes in the more affluent parts of the world.

There are many places like this across all of Africa (the continent that is). Whilst we are surrounded by LCD/LED tv's, there are many CRT's still in perfectly good use. I don't know if they're still manufactured but there were local companies still producing CRT's a couple of years ago.

Hold onto them long enough and they'll become obsolete. You'll then be able to sell them back to western hobbyists for a fortune!
