Got a bead on a Mr. Do, but it looks a bit different from others I've seen (CP layout, marquee).

Can anyone confirm if this is a later/earlier model? E-mailed the guy today to see if it's still available. I am assuming it's not the original cabinet. Worth a restore if it's not? Or just a gut job for something else?

Also, he states the screen images are "shaky", any thoughts on that?

I don't know exactly what that cab is but I don't think its a Universal.

Shaky image could be a lot of things. Hard to say without seeing it. could be that it's got a bad connection, could be bad solder joints (more than likely these need to be gone through on any older monitor anyway). If its wavy, it may be bad Power Filter Caps.

It's probably a conversion. Definitely not a Universal Cabinet.  Shaky image could be just about anything but the boards I've seen have been a little finicky when it comes to h-sync.  The monitor maybe could just use a cap kit (guessing it's pretty old based on burn) but I would start there.  If the price is right get it. It's Mr. Do! after all!

Knowledge on cabinets is way beyond me.. Just chiming in to say I look forward and hope you decided to restore or turn it into a cool do machine. Do run run is personally one of my favorite games

cab looks like an early Sega/Gremlin cab like Frogger or Carnival.
