Title: X-Arcade Tankstick internal high pitch noise
Post by: diedel on July 11, 2015, 11:27:55 am
Hi all,

Today, after some months without using it, I connected my X-Arcade TankStick to play some MAME games.
But when I USB connect my X-Arcade TankStick to the computer I hear an annoying noise from inside the X-Arcade, like an high pitch electric noise.
I've tested in both my MacBook Air computer an a Dell tower PC, in all possible USB ports and the noise stills there.
I bought the X-Arcade some years ago and I didn't noticed that before.

I've tested the X-Arcade and all buttons and sticks work as expected.

Maybe I should replace the PCB or the cable?

Some ideas?

X-Arcade has a lifetime warranty.

I guess it is time to invoke it.

As noted already, reach out to the manufacturer. The cases are covered by a one year warranty and the parts are lifetime. I am sure they will be able to help out.
