Hi all
Can anyone who owns a Rowe-Ami R1-3 Jewel jukebox give me some dimensions for the cabinet. All I have found so far after extensive searching are the height, width, and depth.
I am hoping to build a replica of this model so that I can build a digital MP3 juke box.
I have already completely sorted the hardware and just need to make a start on the 'box'
Any help appreciated

Hi Longplayer,
The cabinet size is as follows:-
Depth 24-7/16 inch (62cm)
Width 33-1/2 inch (85cm)
Height 44-13/16 inch (114cm)
The RI-4 & RI-5 were of a similar size (the RI-5 was a few cm higher due to the mounding on the top of the cabinet)

Hi ami-man
Thanks for the info. Are you able to give some more of the dimensions such as the height of front of sloping panel, size of panels, etc. to enable me to make accurate drawings to build my cabinet from. I really would like the finished item to be as close in looks as possible to the real thing.
I had tried sourcing a genuine model which may be in bits or beyond repair so that I could build my hardware into that, but I have been unable to find anything and hence the decision to build my own cabinet.
Many thanks

Hi Longplayer,
I am sorry I do not have a machine in to give you any measurements.
If youu go on the Stamann website www.jukebox-world.de (http://www.jukebox-world.de) and look in their archieve section and check out the pictures of Rowe Ami and then the 1980 RI-3 it should give you a idea of the sizes involved.

Hi and thanks again Ami-Man
Have had a look at the sit that you suggested and downloaded pics. With these and a few others that I have gathered from various places I should be able now to mock up a sketch, and then make drawings to build from. I will keep you posted.
Thanks again
