Also, he doesnt seem to credit Degetrons either.

There is full accreditation to the “Degenatron” in our assembly instructions listed at the bottom of this post.

As for crediting for a “Melenko Mount” we are not aware of such a thing.

Although we are new to the forum, our perception and involvement until now has been a positive one and we would like to keep it that way. The love of building arcades is obviously shared by all of us.

This specific product is a pilot test and is obviously an open source design as it is seen and available everywhere. We always welcome criticism and feedback on our products but blatant disrespect will have no further response from us.

To rest of the forum, please take advantage of this give away while you can.

Thank you.

I disrespected him, not you.

try spelling it right?

I came up with the lines instead of holes for the monitor mounts after getting a vertical kit from HaRuMan. He liked the idea and now uses it in all his vertical kits. Rick also uses the idea in his kits, they both give me credit.

here is where Rick is giving me credit for the idea, way back in January of last year, which was a couple months after I gave the idea to Haruman:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,133905.msg1418442.html#msg1418442 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,133905.msg1418442.html#msg1418442)

All that being said, I was just joking around. In this hobby your ideas are never just for you, everyone's going to use them when it benefits them. That's why I post so much free artwork, better to give it away than have it used without permission. But, it is nice to get credit where credit is due, that's all. Best of luck with your give-away, its great marketing idea.

I vote you give it to pinballjim because he hates bar tops and will give a thorough and honest review.

I,  for one, am rather flattered that you're using the bezel slots invented by Gameroom Designs... It's good to see the best ideas going to good use by other manufacturers, as it undoubtedly helps to progress the industry.

Cool, I don't care about the ego contest of who thought of what first and just want my chance to win one.

Well, I'm certainly interested. I've built one MAME cabinet for myself and two for friends, and I miss having a project. With the free time I've got coming up, I'd love a shot at this.

We, the folks at Retro Active Arcade.  We're very often on the same page, so I tend to speak for the team.  And in this case, we all agreed two bar tops to giveaway!   :)

Unfortunately, no.  The winners hailed from Facebook and another forum.
