Hi all ! Yesterday I decided that I wanted to play marvel vs capcom 2 on my cab and start it with mala. I followed Wade's posts about it. I can now start a ahk from mala to start the game but whenever I press P1B1 (my button to start the games in mala) mala is still active even if demul is in full screen and mala boot the ahk each time. I'm really not good at command prompts so it might be really obvious to you but for the life of me I can't find my problem
Also I tried my hand having this one game in my mala main list using explorer.exe as the executable and made a mame.cmd. It starts mame game like a charm but doesn't even start demul when I select marvel vs capcom 2.
Thanks a whole lot ! I'm lucky to have this forum to help me !

I'm sorry but I have understood nothing! What emulator do you need configure in MALA or It's a pc game?
How have you configured MALA? You could show some screenshots...
Greetings!

Nope, I didn't get much of that either. You mean MaLa is still running in the background when you launch an emu/game? It's supposed to be.

First of all thanks a lot for taking the time to help me. Sorry for the confusion and since english isn't my first language it doesn't help.
Okay my emulator is demul and I use it to start naomi games. When I start the game (using P1B1) it boots, but as soon as I select a character (when I press P1B1 again) mala tries to boot the game again so auto hot key says that its trying to run another instance of the script (not exact wording) and asks me if I want to run this one instead. This behavior is normal because when I click on my ahk when the game is already started it does exactly the same thing.
Oh and the game only boots when it is in a separate list. I'm just it's my mame.cmd that is faulty but I don't understand much in these things, actually I'm quite impressed that my ahk is starting the game.
Thanks once again guys, without the help of this forum I wouldn't even have a cabinet

Wow thanks a lot ! I will report here when I try it but I'm very confident. Thanks a whole lot !

Works like a charm ! For the record, I had to use autohotkey and compile a exe instead of a bat in order to use a combinasion of buttons to close demul.
Thanks once again !
