Basically what topic says I just bought used Qanba q4 and want to replace the buttons with short IL convcave buttons but they're 28 mm and the ones it comes with are 30 mm. I thought maybe since they're screw on you could just tighten them down and they'd stay put. But now I'm not so sure.

If they cover the hole when inserted, and the nut holds at the bottom still,
I'd say you can probably just wrap the buttons threads with electric tape,
Or just some foam tubing. Anything to pad the space between the button and the hole. That plus the screw on nut should do it.
