Title: So what are some good games?

One of the best things about MAME (in my opinion) is the opportunity to try out games that I never had the chance to play for whatever reason.

What are some great games that aren't well known that people should check out?

This has been discussed many times.  I'd say find an FE that does random selection and try them out.

Personally I like Do Don Pachi, Pooyan, Neo Drift Out, Arabian, Blood Bros, and many of the puzzle games.

Well, as SirPoonga said, this already was very discussed but i will help ya though!

Guwange -> Well, you'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll get your pants wet!  :P

Super Cup Finals from Taito -> Well, this is "the only WAY" that soccer goes to me!

KOF's series -> ...

Wild west C.O.W -> Well this game was based in a cartoon called Wild West C.O.W, it's been one of my favuorites since my youthness!

Dodonpachi as SP said, great game,  Dungeons & Dragons: Shadows of Mystara, Bubble Bobble Symphony, Nightmare in the Dark, i could name some other ones if I wasn't half awake.  If I get a good list going I'll write it down here, I am lazy though so who knows if that will happen.

Mercs, marvel vs capcom, and any of those absurd games where you have to fill the screen by cordoning off areas with a 'line' to reveal a neked lady  ::)

If you like Football, Cyberball is kick butt.

My TMV(Total Margin of Victory) over the 4 oponents is like 260.  Will not be able to get it any higher I do not think.
