Title: Can I just replace exe to upgrade

Want to upgrade to 1.82, can i just decompress everything in a folder and copy over just the 1.82 exe to my existing 174 installation folder?  Obviously I'd like to keep all the other config files.  Or are there other dependent files I'd have to copy also.

Yep, all that you need to do is replace is the exe from the zip file for the 1.82 update. The exe was the only thing updated from 1.74.

Doesn't the download for 1.82 just contain the exe anyway?

Yep, I think so, but I think double clicking the exe in it's own directory will extract a fresh copy of a number of the directory files.

Thanks much, yes when you click the exe it unzips the standard install files and folders, obviously don't want to replace any but didn't know if any were version dependent.  Thank you again!
