Hello Friends
I always were an Advancemenu and Advancemame user, I have lot´s of .mng files, want to keep my old good advancemenu working, without having to change plataform for hyperspin or mamewah, and now i´m running it with Groovymame 0.161b, the solution is working great but have a little incovenient, running Advmenu full screen, then select a game to load, then it shows my windows xp desktop very quickly, them the game comes up. After escaping the game, again the windows xp desktop shown again for a while before Advmenu comes back up again. Is there anythink i can do to prevent the desktop to appear between these transitions. Any suggestion will be great !

The best solution is to replace your desktop's shell, instead of explorer.exe use the actual frontend executable. There's plenty of information available. You need to edit the registry. It's not very convenient if you need to configure your pc very often.

Thank you so much, for the tip, i will try Quick Sheller, but unfortunelly i think will move on to Hyperspin, it´s a peny because i have a lot of .mng files, so will have to abandon them unfortunelly.

Make your windows desktop background black. Auto hide your task bar. Make your mouse animations a clear icon.
