I have the latest version of mame and when I play muchi muchi pork sometimes I get a coin error message from the game. Is there a fix for this or is this known issue?
-
Well, I'm gonna say it since I could never say it when I worked phone support...
Telling us "an error msg" is absolutely useless. What was the exact error and what were you doing immediately before it occurred?
-
Happens randomly when I press the coin button. Can happen when I try to continue or the when I start. Screens turns blue and says coin error. I have to reset the game in mame to play again.

Happens since the beginning of putting driver in mame and not only in this cv1k game. Use Service 1 for coin up (usually 9 on keyboard).

it happens if the coin input us held for too long, quite a lot of taito games do the same.
if you're running unthrottled (>100%) or with frameskip it's more likely to happen.
it's correct behavior as it's how the boards signal a coin jam. Tap the coin input to signal a coin passing through smoothly, don't hold it.

OK. Thanks for the help.

Why not just put the game on free play and not worry about it?
