Hello Friends
Any idea, how to run the games without a "bump" sound when it is initialized.
Using win xp32bits, Ati HD 4350, J-pac ,Asus p5klp c/ 1600
Thanks

whats a bump sound?
You mean the "sound board check tone" you hear when you boot up games like Killer Instinct and RevolutionX?

Hello Malenko
Itīs like a "tum" sound on everygame initialized, i mean before it appear, right after itīs loaing, itīs kind a sound being initialized or something like.
Do you have any clue what could be ?
Thanks

Does that happen with base line MAME too?
-
99% it's not. Some frontends have such option but you will hear such sound in fact before loading mame instead after loading game in mame.

Hello Calamity
Will try the mame command line to see if this "bump" sound persist, them will let you know.
Thanks a lot

I didn't mean "command line", I said base line (official) MAME.

Hello Calamity
You were right, the "bump" sound only happens if i run mame from dos prompt, thru Advmenu it doesnt happen.
Thanks a lot again !

Hi Marcos,
I never meant that, but it's good that you solved it.
