Title: Well Gardner 4600
Post by: bsholbrook on December 30, 2003, 09:01:14 pm
I recently acquired a complete upright Centipede cabinet with the original WG 4600 series monitor.  The monitor will not display a picture until the cabinet is powered on and warms for 2-3 minutes and then power is restarted.  After the initial warmup and restart the monitor works great and has a great picture.  Previous owner indicated that the monitor would come on sometimes but then got worse over time to the point its at now.

I have a new CAP kit on the way, I was hoping someone with more knowledge might have some idea if this will solve the issue or if something additional should be done?  The warmup followed by a restart seems to work without failure, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Yup, capkit should fix it plus check the main board for numerous cold solder joints.
