I'm pretty sure I've seen them at $200.  With the lack of support for the PS4, I would imagine the price is going to drop to clear them out at some point.

I've see them for 270, never NEW for $200. If you have  link, do share.

$205 shipped if you don't mind refurbished rather than new - http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/311146275997?lpid=82 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/311146275997?lpid=82)

(in retrospect, I do consider $200 a crazy cheap price)

Honestly, it might be worth our time to develop our own wheel.  Surely we could engineer something via off the shelf parts where we would just have to swap out the pcbs every generation.

Do you really think the PS3 was that big of a customer base for the G27?  (meaning the PS3 market was so big that the PC market (where almost all the games are anyways) is so small in comparison that Logitech will just discontinue the wheel altogether).  (/sarcasm)

The PS4 actually supports the G27 per Sony.  Its the game developers that don't.

Here is a G27 working on a PS4 (War Thunder) allegedly..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOvStB09LUo&feature=youtu.be (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOvStB09LUo&feature=youtu.be)

And apparently the G29 is coming out to support the PS3 / PS4 (but no PC support?)

I guess that was me not being in touch with the PC driving/racing game world.  My apologies!  It does close the door on whatever percentage of the 10 million gamers that would buy a wheel and have moved to the PS4.  I'm not sure that's insignificant, but with the next wheel not supporting PC, the G27 may still have a decent user base in PC.  I guess we will see!

Now I'm curious, where did you get the number of 10 million?  Im guessing the number of GT5 sales (cause GT6 sold just over 2 million copies).  Maybe 10% of those people considered a wheel, fewer were likely to purchase one.

Yeah you've got to understand that among the people that would buy a racing sim (not a lot) you then have to narrow that to the people that would buy a wheel (fewer still) and amoungst that, the people that would buy a 100+ wheel (nearly nobody).  The sim crowd is several thousand at best.

I just googled total sales of the PS4 console.  I guess I should've started with the total number of gt5/gt6 game sales instead.  Good call.

I messed up that number, though, because I have three copies of each, but only one wheel :-)

If anyone happens to still be looking at these it's worth noting that they are $225 on Amazon right now
