I'm running Mame using a 27 inch TV. I've noticed that vector games like Tempest are pretty fuzzy when running at the resolution I've got it set to (480x360) with all the other settings at default. What is the best way to optimize vector games? What settings should I switch to make it look sharper? I realize that on a TV, vectors will always be a little fuzzy (I can live with that) but I want them to look as good as possible.
TIA,
Jay

The TV will NEVER display vector correctly. Sorry you will miss these games. You can display vector somewhat okay on a Medium Rez Arcade Monitor and alot better on a VGA monitor. However a vector monitor is the only way to go to display vector.

Well, as I said, my TV displays Tempest just fine. It's just a little fuzzy. But it's extremely playable. I can read the letters on the high scores, and I can see the bad guys coming at me. At very high resolutions, it looks pretty good, but the frame rate is a little choppy (in the 30s, as opposed to 50+ at 480x360). I just want to optimize it for my limited display, not make it look perfect.
