Title: Golden Mini
Post by: Edgedamage on December 30, 2003, 12:27:04 pm
Two years ago I told a buddy how I used to play a poker machine called "golden mini". Here's what he dropped off at my door...
Two work and the third one is for parts.

I know the screen is 6" wide. And the monitor with chassi
is 10" deep and it is rgb. Also the monitors run off 16vac.
I am thinking the third one might be good for a mini mame cabinet.

I also thought I would share info about this product I found for chrome. It's called nevr-dull inside the can is this wool looking stuff. You just rip off a little piece and start buffing the metal. It removes light rust and makes chrome really shine. Before shot.

I just built something like that for my mother.  No coin stuff, but a Keywiz and real video poker buttons.  She loved it.

It was really heavy though.  I bet those suckers are heavy too.

They are kind of heavy. The cool thing about all golden mini's is that they all have a credit switch located on the top left of the cabinet. Which is key operated. The smaller of the three has two aux key switches one on the front and one on the back. The real challenge is fixing the lamps in the switches. They are super tiny finding replacments will be a real luck of the draw.

Nevr-dull is the best stuff on the planet! I use that stuff exclusively on my motorcycle to polish aluminum. It looks like chrome when I'm finished with it.

Hope this helps but aluminum foil rolled up into a ball will shine chrome and remove rust as well!
