The movie was on the other night and I ended up watching the whole thing. Of course after that I had the urge to play it. The problem is I have a standard street fighter layout with a trackball and spinner, so it's a bit tough to play.
I got to thinking about how to play it without adding an actual Tron stick to my control panel. I recently bought a partially gutted Ninja Gaiden cabinet, it still had the control panel with joys and buttons, but no monitor or boards. So, could I use the Ninja Gaiden joystick to play Tron? I haven't taken the control panel apart yet and I don't know how the button on the top of the joystick is wired. Can it just be wired to player 1 button 1 on my I-pac?

I'm not familiar with the Ninja Gaiden stick, but if it's got a switch somewhere under that button, then yes. You should be able to connect any normally-open switch to your ipac. You can also have another button on your CP for player1 button1 for regular play by connecting the switches in parallel.
