so on my upright i did things all over the place, put a 4 outlet electrical box that i wired with an extension cord to power the TV, light, speakers and computer. which all power separately, computer has a switch on the top of the cab, tv turns on with remote, switch for the marquee on the side
I want to do something better on this bartop. my plan was to cut out the back so the PSU with the switch and receptacle can be the only thing outside of the cab.
for the led light, i think i can just clip the red and black off of one of the molex and wire it to the power cord. however i'm not sure about how to power the monitor without putting a surge strip in there, but then it makes no sense to open the back for the psu because then i would need two separate cords...
Any suggestions?

You're on the right track. For the monitor you can solder a power cord after the PSU's power switch. Like this:

I also mounted the PSU on my OutRun bartop like you are planning now:

And for powering LED marquee, power amplifier and other things, just use the 12V from the PSU (modify a molex connector or something).

I don't quite understand the PSU picture in relation to "solder a power cord after the PSU's power switch. Like this:"
It just looks like the power cord passes through the PSU with no alteration? Does this picture not actually show the modification?

You're right. It doesn't show the actual modification (couldn't find a pic of it). But basically: solder an extra power cord into the PSU.
