Hello, working on my CP. I find myself needing a rocker/toggle switch or more like an A/B switch - something at takes in .187 inputs from two different buttons and out to one central input on the iPad, and can switch between the two inputs by using the toggle. Any ideas?

Welcome aboard, Dylaninwv. ;D
Sounds like you're looking for a SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) version of the DPDT rocker switch setup on KADESTICK (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,134781.0.html).

You may find a suitable switch with 0.187" terminals, but you'll probably find a wider selection with 0.110" or 0.250" terminals. ;D

EDIT: To clarify, "Encoder 1" connects to the IPad input, and "Button A" and "Button B" connect to the NO (Normally Open) tab on the related microswitch.
In the up position, "Encoder 1" connects to "Button A".
In the down position, "Encoder 1" connects to "Button B".

Pic might confuse OP a bit...

Yeah...pic has confused OP a bit.....

Perhaps I misunderstood what you are trying to do. :dunno
It sounded like you want to use a toggle/rocker switch (SPDT) to select which button (A or B) is connected to an ipad input. (encoder)
The diagonal lines are the moving switch contacts (drawn in the up/un-pressed position) and the "upside down christmas tree" is ground.
If you move the SPDT switch to the down position, the contact moves from green-->red (diagonal) to green-->blue. (horizontal)
For information on wiring microswitches to an encoder, see here (http://newwiki.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?title=FAQ#How_do_I_wire_microswitches_to_an_encoder.3F).
If that's not what you are trying to do, please clarify.

Yes, that is what I am trying to do - switch between two different button doing input into an i-Pac2.
My question though, since the SPDT has 6 terminals, which one of those would I be using?

I think you have a double pole, and only need a single pole, which has 3 contacts. (You have a DPDT instead of SPDT) You should be able to use a double pole just fine. Hold the switch vertically, and with the "On" position facing up like it was a light switch. Use the contact on the top right and the middle right. If you get a SPST, use the middle and top terminals.

Like Vigo said, you probably have a DPDT switch.
The center-right tab should be the common. (green dot)
The upper-right and lower-right tabs should be the red and blue dot contacts.
You can check for continuity (electrical connection) using a multimeter set to continuity. (or ohms)
-- With the switch set to one position, one lead touching the center-right tab, and the other lead on the upper-right tab, you should get a beep. (or <2 ohms)
-- With the switch in the other position and the leads touching the center-right and lower-right tabs, you should get a beep. (or <2 ohms)
If it doesn't work as expected, try the same multimeter tests using the contacts on the left.
