I just found out about virtual pinball... LOL
Is this part of MAME? Or is it a separate emulator that you need to install?
Thanks in advance...

definitely it's own thing. Visit http://www.vpforums.org/ (http://www.vpforums.org/) for all you wanted to know and more.

MAME does have something about pinball in it I though. Isn't there PinMAME? At least I've seen that option in RomLister.

The Visual Pinball program uses Visual PinMAME ("VPM") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PINMAME#Visual_PinMAME (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PINMAME#Visual_PinMAME)
VPM is used "for emulating CPUs and the connected ROMs used in modern pinball tables".
Also, "The program is named after the original MAME program for emulating arcade games. Visual PinMAME runs on top of the PinMAME software engine which again uses some parts of the MAME core".
As BorgDog suggests, check out vpforums for how to install Visual Pinball with VPM ;D

PinMAME is based on a version of MAME so old that dinosaurs still roamed the Earth, and they screwed it up so badly and messed with so many things they can't even resync with current versions of MAME anymore. It's a disaster.
