Title: Killer Instinct 1 and 2 (MAME) - Anyone else have random sound stutters?

My pc is a beast so def not it.  Game runs perfectly fine except every now and then, it's like the game pauses and repeats the same sound (like a stutter) which is then quickly resolved automatically.  Lasts only about a second or so and happens on KI and KI2.  Using Mame 1.5 rom set and emu.  Anyone else have this with their KI?  Maybe that's just part of the emulation?

I know this is a VERY old bump and I hate being that guy but this is such an odd problem and not widely discussed.

Tell me you found out how to fix this issue.  :banghead:

I just did a skylake mini-itx build and put it in my ki2 cab. I never had this issue with my old computer but with my 1.4v of the rom, I'm having that stutter sound at the scroll screen before it enters a match and after you beat an opponent.

I know they had issues if the sound was up too high in the game it self. if you maxed it out turn it down like a quarter inch below max sound.
