Title: Mounting Golden Tee TB
Post by: Metimbo on December 26, 2003, 05:32:22 pm
Ok.  Got my Golden Tee TB in from Happs.  I am cutting my cp tonight and I dont see how this thing is supposed to mount.
Do I buy the mounting plate from Happs here?

I think that's it.  But, I want to go ahead and cut my CP tonight.
If so, then I should just cut out this hole for the 3" TB at the bottom as seen here?

Thanks,

I used their mounting kit to mount my 3" ball.  But other folks here have mounted theirs directly to their control panel.

I like the mounting kit because I didn't think I could cut a perfectly circular hole in my CP.  I just cut a square and used the mounting plate.

But it's really whatever you prefer.

Let's say I do use the mounting plate.  Do I just cut a square in the CP according to the link above?
Thanks again,

Yep that's it.  I just cut a 5.5 " x 5.5" square for mine.

Thanks for your reply's.  I ordered my mounting kit today.

How do you go about drilling the 3" hole for the TB in the Lexan?

Also, does anyone have a picture of what I'll need to get from HomeDepot for attaching Lexan to the CP?  I think they are called Carriage Bolts?

I used a 3 inch hole saw.

I didn't.  The mounting plate has the hole in it already.  So I just cut a square as I did in the control panel.
