Title: **Resolved** Ty for the input :o)How do I safetly disconnect an Ultimate Ipac ??
Post by: dashingw on April 06, 2015, 12:56:39 pm
This may be another stupid question, but besides my cab which is no issue because it just loads up with the PC and shuts down with the PC, I have a second Ipac Ultimate board hooked up to the control panel in a coffee table to play on my 47" LG when I desire. This is my regular Desktop PC and it is usually on all the time. Although I wont be plauying games on it all that much so I dont wish the Ipac to be on all the time.

Can it hurt to just plug the ipac in to the PC's USB when I want to use it and just unplug it when I'm finished ?? Can I mess it up doing this ?? Obviously I can't remove it safetly the way I would with a USB stick or drive by clicking in the task bar

Nothing is written to the ipac besides when changing settings in the software. You should be fine unplugging it any time you want.
