If you can see the ends of the plungers, you'll want to insert the detent portion of the LED assembly at 90 degrees to the plunger. You have to push it in against the spring pressure a little. Rotate the LED assembly clockwise about 20 degrees and it should click into place.

K this is damn strange, there are two nubs opposite each other on the white bulb base. I know they are to go into the two empty notches 90 degrees from the plunger. and I figured you had to push in and twist but this base doesnt even push in far enough to get past the ledge so you can twist it. I cant even do it if I take the plunger and spring out. This is crazy, maybe I need and Button book for dummies !! lol

They don't turn easily in mine, they sort of snap into place. I have to use a fair bit of force to turn them. With the button upside down, they turn clockwise like anything else. The legs of the button sits a few mm above the switch.
Also, I don't push down while I twist. Once the white nubs are resting in the slots, I just twist.

Well Thank You very much, after reading yours it snapped into place right away !! 2 days for me to get them together !! LMAO I kept pushing trying to get it past a certain point before, thats the way it normally goes when your pushing an actual bulb with nubblies into an actual socket :o)
