Title: Unreal Engine
Post by: DaOld Man on March 27, 2015, 08:08:52 pm
Its free!!
If you make a killer app that everyone has to have, you got to give 5% of what you make back to the company.
I can live with that.

I'm actually pretty excited about both of these.

I made an account with unreal (which has been spamming me a lot ever since) but haven't installed it yet. Any first hand reviews?

I installed it but haven't had a chance to do anything with it.
Between work, the C# game programming class, and a bartop project I have allowed to go for way too long, I have not had a chance to play around with the unreal engine.
Now yard work is starting (groan).

If you're learning C# you'd be much better off using Unity over Unreal Engine.

Yeah I figured. I think Unity is more of a 1-10 person program and unreal more of a 30-50 person program.
