Title: Keys help with other emulators
Post by: chrisindfw on December 25, 2003, 04:33:14 pm
I have MAMEWAH running. I have my keys set up to run mame fine. Now. Say I switch to another emulator to run games. How can I modify, say Stella, to use the same keys as MAME. IE. Mame uses "1" to start the game while Stella uses F2.

Get what I am trying to do?

Ideas?

Some emulators allow you to remap the keys (usually using menus or config/ini files).  Obviously these don't cause a problem...

If the emulator does not allow for key remapping, you're in trouble.  One way is to remap your keyboard encoder (if you use one, and it it can be reprogrammed).  Another way is to hack the emulator - could be tricky...

Anyone know how to change the keys in Stella or Z26 or some other Atari emulator?
