Title: [RESOLVED] Mame inputs suddenly showing a lot of lag on some games

As i endlessly try to complete this build, more problems arise. Today i did a lot of work in incorporating steam and other things into my front end. but now i am seeing drastic lag in some mame games. When i run mame on its own, and play crystal castles for instance, there is very heavy lag. When i press esc to quit, it takes about 2 seconds. This is the same for game play. I am trying random games and noticing this with some. Any suggestions? Ill include my mame ini here.

You installed steam and now you have lag.
check to see what steam is doing to bog down your PC?

this is happening without steam running. And so far its only happening with analog games... arkanoid, crystal castles thus far. Its taking a few seconds to catch up with key strokes. This is driving me crazy

this has been resolved. After a lot of searching ive learned that VSYNC causes extreme lag with analog controls. I initially used it to eliminate screen tears, so ill try to fix that somehow. But games are fully working after disabling vsync
