No, but i have a feeling i'm gonna hear about it from every family member or friend i have on facebook, or in the office, or at home, or when i'm out with my girlfriend and her friends and the fact that i build arcade machines comes up.
...Science damnit.
(looks cool though)

Ok now Hollywood has officially ran out of ideas.
-
No, just Adam Sandler.
-
I like that Peter Dinklage's character looks like a slightly scruffy Billy Mitchell.

Me too. Hilarious.
I'll see it. He misses a lot but when Sandler is good he is good.
-
I'll definitely see it but I'm still confused. Do I wanna see it because it looks good or because it really just looks that dumb
-
Got to work, 4 people had emailed me the link. Great concept, but Adam Sandlers last good movie was Happy Gilmore.
-
I'll definitely see it. Wife loves the stupidness of Sandler and doesn't miss any of his films. This one at least has a subject matter that could be fun to see for me.
Back to school...back to school...to prove to my dad that I'm not a fool.....

Heard on the radio this is based on a short film called Pixel by Patrick Jean.
Looked it up on youtube & sure enough there is a cool little movie that looks like it could be a low budget trailer for this one.

Its a good thing in general, tells you how en vogue classic arcade gaming is.
Wreck it Ralph turned out awesome. Still hate that it invariably increases what I have to pay for authentic hardware and continues proliferation of 60 in 1 ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- that jackholes try to sell for three grand on my local CL.

+1

Out of curiosity what did the release of Fist Full of Quarters do for the popularity and prices of DK cabs and parts? It was a little before my time in the hobby.

Most of his movies are stinkers but I've liked The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds and 50 First Dates which were post-Gilmore. The Longest Yard and Bed-Time Stories was pretty good as well.

This finally hit cable. I liked it way better than Wreck It Ralph.

I'm in shock... It was so bad.
Not sure what I was expecting, but the jokes and scenery seemed to be more for those with deep knowledge but then they did dumb made-for-hollywood movie stuff. I just couldn't suspend belief enough I guess.
The one saving grace for me was Lady Lisa. Vavavoom!

The only good thing about that movie is Cheap Trick playing in the background. Pbj is a different breed of cat, I don't get how he gives Deadpool a C and likes this??? Must have been because he had to pay money to see Deadpool.

Donkey Kong has only seen mild price appreciations over the last 15 years and has seen no price appreciation at all once you account for inflation. However the AVERAGE classic has fallen about 30-50 percent in real dollars in that time so it has held on pretty well.
I would say almost none of that had anything to do with Fist Full of Quarters, it has held on because of the rise of Nes collecting and the halo effect that has had on Nintendo arcade games. I do monitor repairs and fully half the repairs I do are console game collectors who finally bought that first Donkey Kong or Playchoice machine because it seemed cheap once they had gotten used to buying cartridges that cost $1000.
