I have this monitor, and recently it stopped working. I would turn on the arcade machine, and the computer was booting, but the monitor just kept making a clicking noise but not displaying anything.
I took it in to a tech for repair, they spent 3 weeks (!!!) looking at it and this is what they've told me: They can not find what is wrong. It is not a problem with the capacitors. There is no power going to the flyback transformer (whatever that is) so its not getting the high voltage. This being said, they can't find anything wrong.
They also commented that the literature available to them for repair purposes is lacking, it consists of a few flowcharts but not the type of information they'd normally have at their disposal.
I've had the monitor for just over 10 years but its had very light use. It would be a shame for this to go to waste. Any suggestions?

I'd recommend Arcadecup (http://www.arcadecup.com), they just fixed my Betson Imperial. If it's the flyback he stocks new ones.
You'll need to remove the board and mail it to him. This wasn't something I had done before but was pretty easy with the help of some Youtube vids. It'll take a few weeks and may cost a couple hundred bucks but it's your best bet. He has all of the parts, is very thorough and you can see where you're at in the service que on the website at all times which is nice.
Good luck.
