Last night I was tinkering with an UltraCADE machine that my buddy has at his shop. More or less, I wanted to see what was inside. I don't want to sound silly or anything of the like , but I was truly amazed with the inner workings.
Nothing more than a little tiny computer, a Pentium3 to be exact. So I came home and did a little research, and started thinking .... now this would be the ultimate MAME pc!
Has anyone seen these in action outside the UltraCADE cab? I was wondering how one might stand up to the everyday use of the typical PC.

I just thought it was cool because I had never seen such a small PC. I was thinking how sometimes space can be an issue when working on a cab, and I figured this might be perfect.

Shuttle makes motherboards that fit into extremely small spaces. They even have design contests on the best cases. One guy made a PC out of an old 50's toaster.
I agree that the small size can come in really handy sometimes.

Pretty neat stuff.

You are confused. Shuttle makes very small cases and mobo's but those are not the ones that everyone fits into wierd and unusual cases. Those are mini-itx boards you are thinking of. Goto www.mini-itx.com to check those out.

Yeah... i've been told that before! ;D
Thanks for correcting me. I opened my mouth too soon. Those projects they do with those boards kill me. On the site today they have the gingerbread PC. Crazy stuff!
