Title: Exact color yellow of original pacman
Post by: pathdoc2 on December 24, 2003, 10:11:54 am: I have decided to make a Pacman copy and want to use the correct color yellow. Does anyone know the paint code? Where could I find the paint?
My cab will have a single 4 way joystick with a single fire button with a 19 inch vertical computer monitor. Its game list will include
Pac Man
Ms Pac Man
Galaxian
Galaga
Dig-dug
BurgerTime
DK and DK jr
Frogger
Space Invaders

Post by: Tailgunner on December 25, 2003, 05:24:36 pm: I wouldn't worry about whether it's the exact shade of Pacman yellow or not. Unless you'll be putting it next to a real one nobody will be able to tell the difference.

What I would do, assuming you'll be using a Pac CP overlay, marquee and/or side art would be to get them before hand and take them to the paint store with you. They'll be able to color match the paint to the yellow used on the art work.
