I expect more Bruce Boxleitner. Make sure that happens, Chance. If you have to hound the streets where they are filming, hold a knife to to some hapless stage hand, and demand ransom of more Tron to be in Tron, do it.

The Grips and SetDec peeps are usually pretty disgruntled. Maybe I'll go after one of them, or an audio guy. It's gotta be brutal work holding a boom mic over your head all day.
...only to have the audio all redone afterwards in pro tools!

They got counterweights on those things.

A buddy of mine actually works as a recordist in the film/television industry for a living. It definitely takes a certain kind of person.
I used to do that, but couldn't handle the "creative" people. Now I work alone.

Couldn't be any worse than the first two.

Fargo blew ass long before Canada got hold of it. And for a movie that's pretty much 100% green screen, what does it matter if it's made in Canada?

As a Seattle native who's worked briefly in the film industry I can say that those of you talking smack about them filming in Canada might be surprised how much filming happens in Vancouver. Most the movies that "take place" in Seattle and plenty of others are filmed up there. They managed to have a more enticing package to offer Hollywood well before Seattle came up with any good incentives and then once that helped bring a few movies up they used the exposure, money, and experience to grow into a really functional film town.

Testify! Some of my favourite shows - X-Files, Supernatural, and Smallville - had the Vancouver treatment. And Toronto is nick-named "Hollywood North" for a reason. (Boondock Saints, anyone?)

Oh Im just messing with their minds up there, (SORRY Canada people :-[) I don't watch movies unless they are on VHS, However I will go see Tron cause I do LOVE that show.... Fargo did blow, But thats by design not where it was filmed, (Btw whats a 100% green screen?)

There are no sets or on location shots, the entire backdrop is done post edit. The actors act against a (typically) green screen or stage with a few props and CGI geeks fill in the rest of the scene. Makes for a more expensive film but guarantees any local you want at any time. Want a set where the actors walk amongst 50 story tall trees on an alien planet? Done. Want the actors flying around in outer space wearing nothing but cowboy boots and a belt buckle? Done. The only limit is how much money the studio want to put into the film.
