Title: Is it possible to get a Sanwa quick Disconnect to fit on a happ switch?
Post by: downeysyndrome on March 09, 2015, 05:54:24 pm
I recently ordered a set of Zero Delay Encoders on ebay, but the seller mistakenly sent me the Sanwa Kit, containing a 5 pin cable for the joystick and quick disconnects for Sanwa micro-switches (2.8mm, according to the item page). Is it possible to get these cables to fit on my microswitches which take a .187" connector? I am really frustrated with this seller and, if possible, don't want to wait another several weeks for a replacement.

To fit the .110 (2.8mm) quick connects for Sanwa buttons to .187 quick connects, you're pretty much limited to cutting off the smaller connectors and then either crimping on the correct ones or soldering the connections to your switches

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping maybe there was some way i could bend the disconnects, but I'm not surprised. Thank you.

If you were going the other way around (.187 connects to .110 terminals it would work, but you'd have to either bend them to stick on or solder them.).
Sorry for the bad news man.  Try sending a message to Vigo here on the forums.  He used to sell the Zero Delay encoders and might be able to sell you the wiring that you need for cheap.
