Title: amirowe r1 heritage

My friend has a ami rowe heritage duke box, it is not putting credit on. it will play the same record, but will not select the next selection. the buttons on selection do not stay in.  the credit button is not staying in. we are in leeds. Are there any engineers in the local area, or any ideas what may be up.

Hello Richyj,

That sounds to me that you are missing the 30 volts DC supply, this could be a fuse or a trip or could be an issue with the service switch.

You need to meter out the AC & DC power at the power supply unit, the service switch and the plug on the lefthand side of the mechanism (looking at the front of the jukebox).

The latchbar solenoid (30VAC) is switched by a switch on the R1 relay (30VDC) hence the reason that I think you have a supply problem without the 30VDC supply the jukebox will not reject, the search unit will not go round nore will the transfer or mechanism motors that are switched by DC circuits.
