Title: VGA to CGA Help
Post by: Rad_Fishy on March 06, 2015, 03:36:12 pm
I have an old Soul Edge cabinet that I'm going to put a computer into but I'm having trouble connecting the monitor to my PC. I purchased a converter like this one http://s11.photobucket.com/user/EverestX/media/2vga.jpg.html (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/EverestX/media/2vga.jpg.html) but I'm not sure which connections I use. I've attached three pictures from the back of my monitor. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the crappy pictures.

it looks like you got the wrong one. It says cga/ega.... to 2 VGA output (you already have vga output from the pc).

What you need is, VGA to cga/ega/etc as outputs. Get yourself ArcadeVGA.

I've attached a picture of the actual converter I have. I also have an ArcadeVGA card in the computer. Am I better off just hacking up a VGA cable? If so, what do I connect it to?
