For those using LED monitors do you prefer to choose game mode if given the option in the display settings on the monitor?

game mode is supposed to turn off any post processing done on the inputs so you get less lag.
so id say yes, you want to use game mode if available.

ok games are fine in game mode...movies are not. I thought there was something wrong with the monitor til i switched the mode (not easy to get to the buttons anymore) i learned game mode oversaturates the colors and the reds look blotchy.
But I won't be watching movies so I suppose game mode it is.

I think 'Game mode' as shorthand for no-post-processing is more of a TV thing, desktop monitors just have it as a preset for image adjustment controls. I have a couple of LED monitors with Game settings, and on both of them all it does is dial the sharpness up and crank the hell out of the contrast and saturation settings. Most monitor presets are usually way over-exaggerated, you'll likely get better results using the custom preset and messing around with the settings individually.
