Hi all,
I am a total NOOB! I think it would be a lot of fun to build a cocktail arcade game for my kids to have in the basement. I'm thinking a basic 2-person machine (to save space) that could play Pac-Man (and all the variations), Donkey Kong, etc. My understanding is there is a basic ~60 game collection or something?
Anyway - I'm not sure where/how to start...what decisions do I need to make...where to get parts, etc. I have found some cabinet kits that I can buy...which will probably save me a lot of hassel rather than building it all myself? But I'm wondering if anyone can steer me to a resource that kind of steps me through what needs to be done, etc? A video would be even better!
Thanks much for any help!

Welcome aboard, Mpls Funk. ;D
An excellent place to start is the FAQ (http://newwiki.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?title=FAQ).
There is an overview of the design process under "What type of build meets my needs?"
Also check out some builds in the "Project Announcement" forum, UCA (User Choice Awards) threads, and the Cocktail Cabinet Examples (http://newwiki.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?title=Cocktail_cabinets) in the wiki -- there are lots of great examples to learn from.

Also, don't forget to check out the Retail Vendors section. HaRuMaN has some great cocktail kits in the US, and I'm working on some for Canada. (You'll find other vendors as well, of course.)
;)
Welcome!
