Greetings!
I'm not too savvy when it comes to comparing say intel to amd etc specifications, but what I'm hoping someone can tell me is will this run mala frontend:
Intel celeron j1800 2.41ghz
4 gb ram
Intel HD integrated graphics.
The current system I have laying around won't cut it. I can get this setup relatively cheap. Any thoughts?
And the bonus questions is do you think it could handle some of the consuming games like MK3, SF3, Rampage 3d, KI2?
Thanks for your time

Your current system won't run Mala? I've heard of Mala running on a paper bag with a watch battery... But yes, that system in you post will run it with no problem.

I'm building a portable mame 4 player, and wanted to run it on a small laptop (amd dual core c70, 1.33ghz, 2gb ddr3) and mala lags on startup and shutdown. Yes it technically works, but I'm not going to settle for a 4 second startup and shutdown.
Let alone the laptop wont run mk3, ki2, sf3 or games of the like without the sound chopping awful or frame rate being terrible.
Now if I wanted to just run pacman and tetris....no problem heh

Mala is running in my PIII with 512MB of RAM.
Greetings.

I'm running MALA on similar celeron hardware and it seems to be fine except for the fades were really slow, so I just turned them off and don't miss them. Options, GUI, Display, Fades.
