Title: Is there a good way to restor Marquee Artwork?
Post by: Scottacus on February 18, 2015, 12:24:47 pm
Is there a good way to repair scratches in arcade marquees?  I am restoring a Gorf game and my Marquee has several annoying scratches through the backside artwork on the Plexiglas panel.

I have found several ways that don't work well but I am looking for the one that works well.  Thus far I've tried colored pencil, crayon, marker and Sharpie with white acrylic over to dim down the light transfer.  I am going to try colored acrylic paint next.

If you don't mind a reprint, stpcore is doing $10 translites if you get in on it right now.
