Title: Pedal Geometry Question
Post by: Fursphere on February 16, 2015, 11:48:38 pm
For those of you who have hard mount your pedals - taking apart the G27 pedal assembly and individually mounting / hanging each pedal, what kind of angle should the back plate have?  Should the pedals be more or less vertical at rest?  Slightly forward?

I'm at the point where the spacing of the default pedal setup is just too close for my huge feet - I figure if I'm going to tear it apart, I might as well hang them at the same time.

thanks

Mine are angled back by 35 degrees at rest. I did it at this angle after checking the pedals on 4 or 5 cars. I haven't measured but I think this would make the pedals about vertical when fully in.

When mounting I also spaced the pedals out more than the original g27 base and it worked out well.
