Welp, I just picked up "Activision Anthology" remix edition cd rom for my cab. My video card is a Diamond Viper V-330 AGP with 4mb sgram. When I try to run the game it says "fail to initialize direct 3d invalid display mode. >:( I tried upgrading to the latest version of direct x but just as I suspected it did nothing because the cd rom already came with direct x 8.0 which is obviously enough to run the game or else they wouldn't have had it on the cd rom. ::) I checked out the Diamond website but they've been bought out by another company and they offer very few drivers for older cards. Does anybody know where I can find update drivers for this card ? Do they even exist or is this card so old that even if I did find some old update drivers they wouldn't bring it up to snuff to run this game ? Am I trying to get a 500 horsepower out of a moped ? Can anyone recommend a cheap 3d card that would drive this game and maybe some 3d pinball games ?

If you want a card that will run those kinds of games go to pricewatch.. they have tons of cards old and new.
