Title: Mamewah and clones
Post by: Oldskool on December 21, 2003, 01:23:34 pm

In MAMEWAH, I wanted to create another game list with all of the clones added. (I do like some of the Pacman clones)

Here's the step I followed.....

Games List Options
Select Custom List
Custom List 1
Generate Games List Using Filters
Display Clones - YES

When I exit, the list refreshes, and I have exactly the same number of games listed that I have in my normal list (the clones were not added)

I'm using zipped merged rom sets.

Did I miss something?

i had the same problem.
Set list generation to verify sets and don't forget to set your rom
path in mame.ini too.

Thanks to minwah who resolved this for me a few posts ago ;D

Okay...my rom path in mame.ini is:
rompath roms (which works just fine)

What's this about "set list generation to verify sets"..........??????

Sorry, I've never heard of that before.

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

I'm reviving this old thread because I'm having the same problem and don't see the solution anywhere. I'm using Mamewah 1.61 and my "all games" list does not include clones. I'd like to have Pac Man, Pengo set 2 and SFII Hyper Fighting, among others. How do I SEND IN THE CLONES?

Nevermind I figured it out.  ::)

I had to change the way MAMEwah defined my games list, since I'm using merged sets. I forget the setting but it was something along the lines of "verify sets vs list."
