Title: Is it possible to activate a constant force in a Logitech G27 wheel?
Post by: Sp3c7r3 on February 06, 2015, 08:01:57 am
Is it possible to activate a constant force in a Logitech G27 wheel, so there is atleast a little resistance in non-force feedback games? Like fx. OutRun in MAME or Outrun 2006 on PC, so that it doesn't feel floaty.

I tried activating the centering spring in the Logitech Profiler, but it does nothing?

I split this out of the driving cab info thread.  We have a whole forum now.  A separate thread for every topic!

To answer your question, the centering spring should work the way you want.  I used it that way on my old Momo wheel and have also used it on the G27.

I always activated it in the windows controller settings screen though.  IIRC there is a checkbox for "enable centering"
I just left it on all the time by default.

Make sure if you're loading a different profile in profiler it isn't turning it off.

Don't know why I didn't think of that. That solved it, thanks.
