Title: Niagara Falls Comic Con Retro Arcade
Post by: AzureKnight on February 05, 2015, 03:41:47 pm

I'll be attending this year again and I saw a new addition to the show.  I thought I would post to let anyone else in the area know and ask...anyone here a part of it?  I'm wondering who is providing the machines.

Hmm... Niagra falls is on my wife bucket list, and Canada is on mine. Any idea if age 3 is free to the event?

I've gone the last few years.  It is a smaller show but a good one and growing.

I've gone the last two years, and it is around the same dates.  I don't know how many years it has been running.

United States license is valid in Canada. No need for an international drivers permit.

You need proper paperwork to get across the border. Enhanced licence or Passport are what you will need for that.

What do you do?  Stare at all the funny books sealed away in plastic tombs?

Wow. Guess my source from United States government website was wrong. Can never rely on good old USA for correct info. I should have known. My state DMV website is wrong half the time. Thanks for he correction. That would have sucked.

The license will let you legally drive there, it just won't let you in to the country or back into the US  ::)

I also live in Buffalo so it is a short hop across the border to the show.

Yup, sometimes I rescue a few of them and bring them back across the border to read.  I collect lightly to read not for the value.  It's also fun to watch all the costumed cosplayers walking around, meet and chat with the (often faded) stars that attend.  This year an arcade is just a huge bonus.

I sir, am and unapologetic geek  :D

Last year I got to meet Kevin Eastman and that was truly fun.
