Title: Wells Gardner K7500 no video
Post by: shanecrow99 on January 25, 2015, 06:48:44 pm
I recently picked up a Golden Tee cabinet that has a 27" WG K7500 monitor.  I get no video at all.  When I turn on the monitor I don't even see a flash or anything - almost like it isn't getting power.  However, I have glow on the neck board and I can hear the normal hum of a powered monitor.

Any ideas on how I should go about testing?  Thanks!

Okie dokie, I adjusted the "screen" adjustment on the flyback and now I have video.  It's completely grey scale and washed out.  No colors at all.

Any ideas on what may be causing this?

there is a resistor that goes open circuit, basically you have a virtually colourless picture?

That's exactly right.  All grey - no color but the video is there.  I connected an LCD monitor straight to the Golden Tee board and got a perfect picture so I know the problem is with the monitor.
