I am confused I am building a Ms Pac-Man cab. This is my second mame cab. but I am having newb problems
PC is HP pavilion 700mghtz (celeron)
windows ME
128 meg memory
onboard sound an video
pivot pro set to 90 deg. on start up
mame 32 vert 77b in start up
joystick to mouse in start up (good program )
Gateway 17 in monitor set on its side (vertical)
my problem is sound stinks. I get double notes (music is playing 2 times) and Ms pac is not chomping at all times. the dots are ate but she chomps 3 times and then her mouth is open but dots do go away.
the same problem on my main PC 1.2 gig pent
windows xp pro
384 meg mem
x flat 19" monitor (Wal mart $200.00) love it
same MAME same ROMs
I have not downloaded any sound samples (I don't think Ms pac needed them.)
